John Henry Swingler
President and Founder
John Henry began his career at JPMorgan’s Real Estate Group, underwriting over $2 billion in transactions across asset classes. He went on to hold investment roles with Texas-based developers, gaining experience across development and acquisitions.
At Lincoln Ventures, he led development site selection for multifamily projects and acquisitions of retail and office assets, further refining his expertise in identifying and executing high-potential opportunities.
Since founding Cypress Creek, John Henry has focused on acquisitions, repositioning, and ground-up development projects throughout Austin and Central Texas. As an Austin native with over 15 years of experience and an active real estate license, he brings a deep understanding of the local market and a strong network of relationships to every deal.
